Baked Apples wtih Amaretti Cookies — 3 Comments

  1. I’d be interested in hearing about the apple variety. In Italy I’d use one called “renette”. I don’t know what the corresponding American one would be. I have used every kind, and somehow they never disappoint, although some are tastier than others.

  2. I don’t know what variety they are. I bought a bag of organic apples and the variety wasn’t listed. They were both sweet and tart.
